Thomas is absolutely incredible! He is so knowledgeable, personable and cares so much for his work! His personality & smile brightens up the store as soon as you walk in! A Cut Above is so lucky to have such a hardworking bright young man! Definitely the best quality of meats & service in town, hands down! You’ve gained a lifelong customer out of me! A Cut Above is hands down my favorite local butcher in Fort Lauderdale. Everyone who works there is so nice, helpful, and personable—they actually remember you, which makes every visit feel so welcoming. I cook all the time, and this has become my go-to spot for meat. The quality is significantly better than what I find at the grocery store, and the prices are often better too. I even won a chili cookoff using their meat! I’m so happy to have a place like this nearby. Amazing quality, great prices, and genuinely wonderful people. Highly recommend!

We can’t say enough great things about A Cut Above butcher shop! The quality of the meat is absolutely outstanding, and their selection is second to none. Everything is fresh, beautifully prepared, and you can tell they truly care about what they offer. What impressed us even more was their customer service. We were a touch overwhelmed when we first entered the shop but the butcher behind the counter spent precious time explaining the different selections and the freshest cuts, and made amazing recommendations! After we left, we had a quick question about one of the products we had brought home, and rather than giving a quick answer, they went above and beyond to investigate, follow up, and make sure we had all the information we needed. That level of care and dedication is rare and speaks volumes about how they treat their customers. If you’re looking for exceptional quality, incredible variety, and a team that genuinely stands behind what they sell, this is the place to go. Highly recommend - we’ve been back twice now and will definitely be loyal customers!
